At the end of February I went to Granada, Andalucía. I only stayed there for a couple of days but they were so intense, so much walking! First things first, get ready for the slopes and wear sneakers, they are a must! The city has muslim heritage which can be seen everywhere in the city but especially in the muslim quarter. An obligued visit is the Alhambra and of course you should try the typical dessert, the piononos. I don't know how many of them I ended up eating in just two days, but I don't regret it at all. They are little cakes with cream inside. They taste like cinnamon. Just delicious, I have never tried something like that before! I also recommend you to go to Carmen de los Mártires, a beautiful garden which is in the Alhambra and if you want to get the best views of the city, visit El Mirador de San Nicolás, especially at night. So beautiful! ah and there's more... the city is beautifully decorated with orange trees! Everywhere!
